Time truly flies. Last summer, Azkia graduated from high school, an important milestone that somehow arrived sooner than I ever imagined. Her graduation wasn’t marked by the traditional ceremony I had envisioned. Instead, her journey concluded quietly but meaningfully: IGCSE exams in May and June, a school prom in July, a long summer break, and finally, the much-anticipated results released on the very first day of her A Level classes in August.
Alhamdulillah, everything went beautifully. She achieved excellent results across all her subjects, and her Chinese result brought her particular joy, she passed with flying colors. It felt even more special knowing the journey behind it. Earlier in 2025, I was invited to meet her Mandarin teacher after she received a 3 (fail) on her mock exam. It was a difficult moment, but also a turning point. Azkia was fortunate to have the guidance and encouragement of Mr. Ng and Ms. May, who helped her prepare and rebuild her confidence. Through perseverance and determination, she overcame that setback and proved to herself what she was capable of.

Looking back, what makes me most proud is not just the outcome, but the strength of character she showed along the way, her spirit, her willpower, and her resilience. As I have always believed, everything happens by the will of God. 2025 was an incredibly busy year for me, filled with multiple projects and frequent overseas travel. There were times when I couldn’t closely monitor her studies or exam schedules or even do something as simple as preparing her breakfast and lunch box. Yet she managed everything on her own. She balanced her academic responsibilities with sports training and music classes, part time and volunteering job, demonstrating discipline and maturity beyond her years. Honestly, I still wonder how she did it all.

She has grown into someone remarkably independent, someone who understands herself, her goals, and what she needs to do to achieve them. She may not be naturally competitive, but she carries a quiet, steady ambition that is just as powerful. It is her own journey, guided by her own pace and purpose. Alhamdulillah, MashaAllah TabarakAllah.
Azkia, Bunda and Popo incredibly proud of you. The time, effort, and energy you invested have borne fruit, and your achievements reflect your dedication and perseverance. I am deeply grateful to all the teachers, coaches, friends, and everyone who supported and believed in you along the way. Your journey is a reminder that growth is not always loud or visible, it often happens quietly, through patience, faith, and determination.
